Vitality Center

A Vitality Center is planned to be opened in the Jacobson Building as part of the ongoing Vitality Project in the City of Albert Lea. This facility will be available for community members and visitors to learn more about the project and to sign up for upcoming initiatives. The center will include a meeting room to be used as a gathering space and will have computers available to take the Vitality Compass. Blue Zones related merchandise will also be for sale.

The committee received $10,000 each from AARP and United Health Foundation and $27,000 from Albert Lea Medical Center to help fund this project. A fundraising effort will be underway to raise the rest of the money needed to complete the project.
