2011 Bituminous Alley Contract No. 1 – Job 1008

This project involves resurfacig the dowtown bituminous alleys between Washington Avenue and Broadway Avenue from College Street to Water Street, a total distance of about 1,170 ft.

The bid opening for this project is schedule for June 21, 2011 with a tentative construction start date of July 15th and complettion date of November 15, 2011.

2011 Bituminous Contract No. 1 – Job No. 1101

This project involves the bituminous overlay of residential streets in the south east part of the City, in the general area bounded on the north by Eleventh Street, on the south by Nineteenth Street, on the east side by Gene Avenue and on the west by Larson Avenue. The project also involves replacing sections of curb and gutter that have settled and are causing drainage issues.

The bid opening for this project is scheduled for March 22, 2011 with a tentative construction start date of May 1, 2011 and completion date of August 31, 2011.

2011 Bituminous Contract No. 2 – Job No. 1102

This project involves the bituminous overlay or street reconstruction, new sidewalk installation, miscellaneous curb and gutter replacement and miscellaneous sidewalk replacement on various State Aid Streets.

The bid opening for this project is scheduled for April 19, 2011 with a tentative construction start date of June 1, 2011 and completion date of August 31, 2011.

2011 Paint Striping Contract No. 1 – Job No. 0912

This project involves installation of bike lanes that would begin on Front St. at Hwy. 69 and end at Frank Hall Drive where bikes would use the Blazing Star Trail.

The bid opening for this project is scheduled for March 22, 2011 with a tentative construction start date of May 1, 2011 and completion date of June 15, 2011.

2011 Street, Sewer & Water Contract No. 1 - Lincoln Avenue - Job No. 1103

This project involves replacing the existing curb & gutter, watermain and sanitary sewer and replacing the existing gravel surface with a new bituminous roadway on Lincoln Avenue from Front Street to the north end (approximately 336 ft). Along with replacing any damaged or settled sections of sidewalk in this area.

The bid opening for this project is scheduled for June 21, 2011 with a tentative construction start date of July 15, 2011 and completion date of November 15, 2011.

2011 Sewer Contract No. 1 – Stevens Street – Job No. 1105

This project involves the reconstruction of sanitary sewer along Stevens Street from Morningside Avenue east to the SE corner of the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Stevens Street, approximatley 1,640 ft.

The bid opening for this project has been rescheduled for July 19, 2011 per Addendum No. 1 that also changed the tentative construction start date of July 15, 2011 to August 15,  2011 but keep the original completion date of October 15, 2011.

2011 Biosolids Removal – Job No. 1120

This project consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for removal and land application of approximately 4,000,000 gallons of biosolids per year for a three year period.

The bid opening for this project is scheduled for July 19, 2011.

2011 Sanitary Sewer Sliplining Contract No. 1 – 3rd Avenue – Job No. 1106

This projects consists of all work necessary to slipline the sanitary sewer on 3rd Avenue from the West Main Street Frontage Road to Clark Street.

The bid opening for this project is scheduled for August 16, 2011 with a tentative construction start date of September 1, 2011 and completion date of November 15, 2011.
