Written survey is required of all participants. Residents may attend any collection
in any city.

It is illegal to drop off and leave items meant for collection without registering
The Albert Lea HHW collections are held at the City Transfer station 2506 W. Richway Drive. Collections in other cities are generally at the city hall or fire station.
Business Electronic Collection May 20th & September 30th at the fairgrounds 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. only!
Individuals and businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the “special” price to dispose of computer monitors and TV’s. We do not accept appliances (white goods) such as stoves, microwaves, dehumidifiers or cooling units. Electronics will not be accepted at any other collection.
NEW ! Pre-registered farmers may bring their unwanted agriculture pesticides to the hazardous waste collections for disposal. Pre-registration is required by calling 507-377-5186 to inventory the number, size, type and amount of ag chemicals being brought. No ag pesticides will be accepted without pre-registration!
It is illegal to leave garbage, tires, appliances, electronics or any other materials meant for a Household Hazardous Waste collection at any recycling drop-off site throughout Freeborn County.
