DESCRIPTION:Join us to highlight the frightening growth of fascism in our country. This will be a short and sweet demonstration due to the weather and early sunset time. Please post your signs here so we avoid duplicates. See the ideas and watch the video posted in the Discussion tab if you are looking for sign inspiration and want to see how this will look. \nThere are no speakers or chanting planned. We will be lining up on the sidewalk side of the street spread a few feet apart from each other so passersby have time to read the signs of fascism so prevalent in today’s government. \nFascism is a far-right\, authoritarian\, and aggressive nationalist political ideology characterized by a dictatorial leader\, a single-party state\, and the forcible suppression of opposition. It emphasizes the rights of the government instead of individual rights\, strict governmental control of social and economic issues\, and marked opposition to democracy\, liberalism\, and socialism.
