The park includes a playground and climbing wall, restrooms, horseshoe pits, fishing pier, picnic shelters and boat landing. The Pelican Breeze cruise boat departs from the park. A football/rugby field occupies the east side of the park. Across the street, the Aquatic Center stands alongside pickleball courts and a basketball court.

This park is named after Albert Lea’s first mayor.

The park offers on-street and off-street parking, including space for trailers at the boat landing.

Canoe and kayak rentals are available via an app-based kiosk.
