Summer fun has begun!
The Recreation Department has officially kicked off summer fun! Bring your kids (must have completed grades K–5) to our neighborhood parks for free, supervised activities
Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through July 30.
No need to register ahead of time, but parents or caregivers must stop by to fill out a quick emergency contact form.

Overview
The Recreation Department provides many programs that benefit residents of all ages, including swim lessons, adult volleyball and ice skating lessons.

To register for a Recreational Program:

This department also oversees the Aquatic Center and City Arena.
It contracts Albert Lea Community Theater to run the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center and the Albert Lea Family Y to run the Senior Center.
In addition, this department oversees dock permits, community garden plot rentals, ballfield rentals and pavilion rentals.
