It is time for the second performance by The Lake Song Chorus! Join us, Sunday, November 30th at 1PM in the commons area of the Skyline Mall Plaza.
The theme for this performance is "Life is an Adventure" and we invite you all along for the journey.
Free admission but donations at the performance are gratefully appreciated. We are supported by individual and organization contributions which are managed through the Albert Lea–Freeborn County Chamber Foundation as fiscal agent.
ABOUT THE CHORUSDiane Heaney is the director and piano accompanist is Robert Tewes.
The group has about 50 members ranging in age from 12 to 98. The choir was formed to celebrate the joy of making music despite memory loss for those with dementia, their care partners, and community volunteers.
Music is one of the last things our brains forget, and so we sing to remember and to feel the joy of singing together in community.
