Curb to curb? I bet not

There were 4 cars in a 2 block span on Garfield last snow storm that didn't get moved for 2 days after, I thought we had to move them within 12 hrs of the snow stopping before they got ticketed? And then possibly towed?

Thank you to all Snow plow drivers, your hard work doesn't go unnoticed!

Why is the southwest part of town always last to get plowed? Canary dr.?

You were NOT rude by any means, but truthful.. everything you said was true.. thanks for the long hard hours and braving the conditions for those that don't know how to heed a warning ⚠️!!!

Thank you for the update

Can we do calendar parking in the winter it may be easier

Stay safe 🙏

Thank you for all your hard work!!

Is there a way to report someone who doesn't move their car? Tired of getting extra snow plowed to the beginning of my driveway due to them never moving! And yes they have a driveway!

We have many on 5th street too.wish they would get them off the street or give them a ticket maybe the would make sure the next time they will follow the law next time.

There is a few people that don’t have enough sense to get their cars off the street in the snowstorm. They should be ticketed and told immediately so they can plow curb the curb.

Thank you!!

GET YOUR f...... off the street so they can do there job

For your hard work

As you may have noticed from previous posts, our public skate availability on weekends is extremely limited due to the continued construction on our second sheet of ice. Our ice schedule is packed full with four high school teams, an Iowa university team, our local Figure Skating club, and the youth hockey association. Our weekday open ice is a perfect time for daycares, home school groups and those who work non-daytime shifts to come and utilize the facility!

Why during school work hours, how does anyone show up to these?

⚠️ ALERT: Albert Lea Blizzard Warning until Monday morning. 🌨️🥶❄️

Expect whiteout conditions with wind gusts exceeding 55 mph. Snow- and ice-covered roads are experiencing significant drifting. Visibility is near zero in many areas; roadways are extremely hazardous.

Emergency responders are currently assisting vehicles stuck and responding to crashes. We have also observed evidence of reckless driving in snow-covered lots (this behavior will not be tolerated if observed). Please stay home. Unnecessary travel endangers you, law enforcement, and all first responders.

If you must travel: Have a plan. Ensure you have a full tank of gas, an emergency kit, proper clothing, and a charged phone. Inform others of your route and expected arrival time.

** We are seeing everything from small cars to semis stuck in ditches. Do not overestimate your vehicle's capability; the conditions are unforgiving for everyone.

Thanks for your help everyone stay safe

Thank you for the alerts!

People stay home! Keep safe. Think twice do you really need to go out? And risk your life or another’s life just to get a soda?

Be safe. Thank you for assisting

Stay safe everyone and thank you for all you do. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

When will the roads be open

Thank you Albert Lea Police Department for sharing . Hopefully the goofy crazy drivers behave themselves.

Drove to Rochester the wind will blow you across the freeway

Lexeah Remanu

Thank You!!

What are they thinking?

Thank you for all you do

There was hardly any workers there today...i came home before dark and i still could not see anything on Margaretha.....and i bet that road is blown shut

What the hell are these people doing out there anyway!??

It's hard when your place of employment says you have to go otherwise you're either out of a job or you get points stacked up to make you lose your job..
