Who do I contact with questions about the Wastewater Treatment Plant?

If you have questions about pretreatment, you can either contact the Environmental Engineer at the City Engineer’s office, (507) 377-4325, or the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent at (507) 373-9159. If the question is about treatment or biosolids use, contact the Wastewater Treatment Plant at (507) 373-9159.

Do you give tours of the Wastewater Treatment Plant?

Yes, tours are available during the hours of 8:00am – 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. We prefer to have them prearranged by calling (507) 373-9159.

Do you accept any waste?

No, we do not accept any wastewater outside the City of Albert Lea. If you have any questions, call the Environmental Engineer or the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent.

Where are you located?

Take I-35 south to Exit 8; go south on Highway 65 to County Road 84; turn left at County Road 84; go to County Road 81; turn left at County Road 81; go approximately 1 mile — the Plant is on the right.
