Volunteer for your health and your community

The Freeborn County United Way seeks volunteers to help with its Welcome Pantry,
winter gear drive, and other efforts to respond to local needs.

Volunteering is a powerful way to support the principles of a Blue Zones lifestyle, which focuses on purpose, connection, and community engagement as key drivers of longer, healthier lives. Research shows that people who give their time to help others often experience lower stress, stronger social networks, and a greater sense of meaning. By joining a service club or volunteering in the Albert Lea community, residents will invest in their own well-being as well as make a difference locally.

Blue Zones provides this information as a community service. Interested parties need to directly contact the organizations below. Please note that the contact information may have changed. Also, organizations may require a background check for certain types of volunteering such as working with children.
