Engineering Department Detail.
Overview
The engineering division of Public Works oversees the design, management and construction of the city’s infrastructure, including streets, drainage, sanitary sewer, water and street lighting.
In addition, this department manages the Transfer Station and Demolition Landfill and Albert Lea Municipal Airport.
The Engineering Department provides engineering services for capital construction projects that involves recordkeeping for general public infrastructure, feasibility analysis, surveying, design, contract administration, construction oversite and project inspection.
