Overview

The Finance Department ensures that city government complies with generally accepted accounting standards. Responsibilities include initiation of financial plans, review and implementation of internal controls, safeguarding assets, and accounting of financial

Transactions, including:

  • Payroll
  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Investment management
  • Debt management
  • Accounting control

The Finance Department also oversees billing for water and sewer services.
