Overview

The Finance Department ensures that city government complies with generally accepted accounting standards. Responsibilities include initiation of financial plans, review and implementation of internal controls, safeguarding assets, and accounting of financial

Transactions, including:

• Payroll
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Investment management
• Debt management
• Accounting control

The Finance Department also oversees billing for water and sewer services.

In addition, the Finance Department facilitates the annual preparation of the following reports and documents:

Annual Comprehensive Financial Report 2025 Adopted Budget 2025 Fee Schedule Capital Improvement Plan 2025-2029
