Marshall Street & Sibley Avenue Reconstruction Project Updates – Job 2403
July 17, 2025 – The paint striping was completed this week. The only work remaining is minor punch list and cleanup items.
July 10, 2025 – The final lift of asphalt was placed last week. Sod was placed this week. Work remaining includes paint striping and general cleanup.
June 26, 2025 – No work has taken place this week due to the rainy weather. The contractor will be installing the manhole and water valve covers to the finished road level tomorrow or early next week. Installation of the final lift of asphalt has also been pushed back to next week.
June 18, 2025 – Rainy weather delayed progress earlier in the week; however, today the contractor is fine grading the aggregate base. Weather permitting, the first lift of asphalt is scheduled to be placed on both streets tomorrow.
June 12, 2025 – Concrete work on both Sibley Avenue and Marshall Street was largely completed this week, with only minor driveway and sidewalk work remaining. Weather permitting, the contractor plans to complete final grading of the aggregate base and install the first lift of asphalt next week.
May 29, 2025 – The contractor expects to complete the storm sewer replacement on Sibley Avenue today. Work will then transition to the sanitary sewer replacement, followed by watermain installation. Both are expected to be completed next week. Afterward, the contractor will begin replacing the remaining water and sewer services.
